A problem in characterizing activity spaces has been in integrating the time and space dimensions into the same analytical framework while maintaining an understandable graphical representation of the space-time geographies.

Taming the spaces 
The same problems with mapping time and tool-usage in distributed learning systems emerged in iCamp study. This was solved by using the matrix of tools and the operations of the activity were mapped in timeline.
